BENEFITS AND USES:

This medicine helps to relieve breathlessness quickly and is normally referred to as a ‘reliever’ inhaler. It does not prevent attacks from happening.

DIRECTIONS:

Take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. You may refer to the Patient Information Leaflet to see the instructions on how to take this medication. This medication relieves chest tightness, wheezing, and cough so you can breathe more easily. It does not prevent attacks from happening.

- Steps to use inhaler:

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap & water
  2. Remove cap and hold the inhaler upright
  3. Shake the inhaler
  4. Breathe out slowly through your mouth
  5. Hold your inhaler as shown in the picture or as recommended by your doctor
  6. While you are breathing in, press down on your inhaler one time to release the medication
  7. Continue to breathe in slowly and as deeply as you can
  8. Hold your breath for 10 seconds if you can, to allow the medication to reach into your lungs deeply
  9. Repeat steps 3 to 8 until you have inhaled the number of puffs that your doctor prescribed.

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE?

This medication may cause the following side effects: - Irregular (Fast) heartbeat - Uncontrolled tremors - Headache - Nervousness Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects.
