This medicine is used to prevent and treat skin infections in wounds such as burns and cuts. This medicine is also used to disinfect the skin before surgery.

DIRECTIONS:

Apply this medication exactly as directed by your doctor/pharmacist or according to the instructions on the label. Do not apply more or less than instructed. Try to apply it at the same time each day. This medicine is available in various preparations such as powder spray, solution, ointment or gel. To use the solution, follow these steps: 1. Wash your hands. 2 Clean and dry affected area before application. 3. Apply the medicine gently on the skin. The treated area may be covered as necessary. 4. Wash your hands after using. 5. Replace the cap of the tube or bottle. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse immediately with water if this medicine gets into your eyes. Alert your doctor if you start to have any problems with your eyes. Stop applying this medicine once your wound is healed. Do not use this medicine for longer than 1 week.

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE?

This medication can cause the following side effects:

  • Skin irritation
  • Itching, rash and swelling Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe
