Item Description
Opsite Post-Op is a waterproof, breathable, and bacteria-proof adhesive film dressing used for post-operative wound care, including minor cuts, grazes, and stitches. It helps create a moist wound healing environment and allows for easy monitoring of the wound site while protecting it from infection.
Benefits
Infection Protection: Acts as a barrier against bacteria, including MRSA (in-vitro), reducing the risk of wound infection.
Waterproof: Patients can shower with the dressing in place, promoting hygiene and convenience.
Low Allergy Adhesive: Unique grid pattern adhesive minimizes the risk of allergic reactions and skin irritation.
Moisture Management: The REACTIC film allows excess moisture to transpire, preventing skin maceration and promoting a moist wound healing environment.
Visibility: Transparent film allows for easy monitoring of the wound without needing to remove the dressing.
Conformable and Comfortable: The dressing is designed to be comfortable and non-obtrusive for the patient.
Low Adherent: The wound contact layer minimizes pain and trauma during dressing changes.
Versatile: Suitable for various post-operative wounds, lacerations, cuts, abrasions, and minor burns.

Directions
1. Wash your hands: Before and after handling the dressing, thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water.
2. Clean and dry the wound: Gently clean the wound and surrounding skin with a suitable antiseptic solution, ensuring it is completely dry before applying the dressing.
3. Prepare the dressing: Open the dressing pouch and remove the dressing.
4. Positioning: Partially peel back the release paper marked "1". Position the dressing over the wound, ensuring it extends beyond the wound edges.
5. Apply and secure: Remove the remaining release paper marked "1" and gently smooth the dressing down, applying light pressure to ensure good adhesion.
6. Remove top cover: Carefully peel off the top covering (marked "2").
7. Monitor and change: The transparent film allows for easy monitoring of the wound. If the dressing becomes soiled, leaks, or lifts, it should be changed. If in doubt, consult with a healthcare professional.
For serious wounds or if you experience any adverse reactions, consult with a healthcare professional.
