Item Description
Primapore is a sterile, adhesive wound dressing designed for managing sutured wounds, cuts, grazes, and other minor injuries. It features a highly absorbent pad and a soft, conformable, non-woven backing with a low-allergy adhesive for secure and comfortable fixation. The dressing is also designed to be low-adherent, allowing for easy and pain-free removal while maintaining a good healing environment.
Benefits
Absorbent Pad: The thick, absorbent pad effectively manages wound exudate and minimizes strike-through, protecting the wound from trauma and keeping the surrounding skin dry.
Conformable and Flexible: The non-woven backing is soft and flexible, allowing the dressing to conform to the body's contours and remain in place, even on challenging areas like joints.
Low-Adherent: The wound contact layer is designed to minimize adhesion to the wound, reducing pain and trauma during dressing changes.
Low-Allergy Adhesive: The acrylic adhesive is formulated to be gentle on the skin, reducing the risk of irritation and allergic reactions.
Secure Fixation: The adhesive provides a safe and secure hold, ensuring the dressing stays in place and effectively protects the wound.
Ease of Use: Primapore dressings are designed for easy application and removal, often with a slit protector paper to facilitate quick and aseptic application.
Versatile: Primapore can be used as a primary dressing for various wounds, including post-operative wounds, cuts, grazes, and abrasions, or as a secondary dressing over gels and other primary dressings.
Sterile: Primapore dressings are sterile, reducing the risk of infection.

Directions
1. Clean the wound: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after handling the dressing. Clean the wound and surrounding skin with an appropriate wound cleanser and dry it gently.
2. Prepare the dressing: Remove the Primapore dressing from its sterile packaging.
3. Position the dressing: Carefully peel back the release paper to expose the adhesive border. Position the dressing over the wound, ensuring the absorbent pad is centered on the wound.
4. Secure the dressing: Gently press down on the adhesive border, smoothing it onto the skin and ensuring good contact.
5. Monitor the wound: Check the wound regularly for signs of infection or changes in condition. Change the dressing daily or as recommended by a healthcare professional, particularly if the wound is oozing.
6. Remove the dressing: To remove the dressing, gently lift one corner and slowly peel it back, avoiding pulling the skin. For serious wounds or if you experience any adverse reactions, consult with a healthcare professional.
